Shop Around Faux Tiling

Posting here today is the second card made in the stamp technique club class.

On the Very Vanilla cardstock, I used the Shop Around wheel to faintly stamp a background using Crumb Cake Classic ink. I then gave the card a vintage and worn look with a crumpled piece of crumb cake cardstock on the back. Adding more depth, I embossed the card base using the Stripes Textured Impression Embossing Folder. A quick and simple card.

Open Sea Stamp Club card

My most anticipated class each month is always the stamp technique club. Tomorrow night is our class and one of the cards we will be making is with the Open Sea stamp set.

At this stamp club class, we will be learning the faux tiling technique. I love integrating faux tiling and vintage stamping to create a worn out vintage image. With the Open Sea stamp set, the end creation comes out to a masculine card that is fit for any man.

Early Valentine's card

Happy Belated New Year! 

It's been a whirlwind time off as I had to craft A LOT within 2 weeks. I anticipated no crafting but due to a certain request, I had to craft. Those projects will be revealed later.

In the meantime, here is this week's Creative Wednesday Project

You may have noticed that the Occasions Catalog was released on January 3, 2014. The exclusive items run until June 1. The supplies used for this week's card are from new catalog. The designer series paper is from the Bermuda Bay Celebration Add-On Kit. This kit has so many unique items that you can make more than just banners and tags.

What else is new on this card is the large ampersand textured impressions embossing folder. This is one of my favourite items from the new catalog. I have more to share! Hopefully I can get around to it before next week's Creative Wednesday. See you soon!
