Iron Stampers WOW card

The third project from the Iron Stampers Project I'm posting today is the WOW card. There's not much of a WOW factor in this card, I think. Only fun technique I used is the faux suede flower. I just wanted to use the Notably Ornate stampset since I haven't used it in a long while and I wanted to keep my projects within the vintage theme that I'm trying to set. I'll post the last Iron Stampers Project soon once I'm done planning my classes for April this week. Can't wait to show you what classes I'm offering for April! Remember these classes are held in my home in Vancouver! Stay tuned!

Swaps

How I love swaps...maybe not to make them, but to receive swaps in return of my hard work. Part of being a demonstrator is that you get to enter into different circles of creative crafters who share their work thru swaps!
For convention I made 102 of these ones:

So in return I got 102 of different card fronts. Of these 102, here is another one that I love!

Want to see the rest of the 102 and other goodies I got from convention? Come to my Retired Item sale and Open house on Sept 12! You can see it all and take pictures of the projects I have on display. RSVP HERE.

This one is by Rhonda Gin.
She used the Unchartered Territory Stamp set (#120456, $17.95 clear mount)

More on what I've been doing

It was one of my downline and good friend, Brenda's wedding shower today!! Unfortunately, I missed the first part of the celebration with having afternoon tea. But I did enjoy a great evening full of fun and games with the bride-to-be.

My gift to her was a tip book that I filled with "inspirational" quotes and "interesting" tips. Since it has such a great vintage look to it, I tried to fill it with quotes from the 18th century to early 19th century era.

One of my favourite quotes I found was:
"The only man who makes no mistakes is the man who never does anything." - Eleanor Roosevelt

And my tip for the bride is "Toilet paper always flap over from the top." I hope she takes that to heart. :)
Happy wedding, Brenda!!
In this project, I used the Notably Ornate Stamp set (#120561, $21.95 Clear mount).
Antique Brads (#117273, $7.50)
Old Olive 5/8" Satin Ribbon  (117292, $12.25)
