A Perfect Wedding Shower Card

Happy Wednesday! 2013 is the year of weddings! I've already received 5 wedding invitations for this year in Vancouver alone. So to prepare for all the celebrations, I'm creating a stash of bridal shower cards that I can have handy.

I used the Dress Up framelits on the Big Shot to cut out the basic dress then used the new Stampin' Up! paper doilies featured in the Spring catalogue to complete the dress.
Here's a quick tutorial. Fold the one doily slightly less than half and then fold one corner inward to complete a triangle.

Stampin' Up! Wedding invitations

I have received several requests to post wedding invitation card samples. Today I am posting just a partial sample of a wedding invitation proof I handmade earlier this year for a couple from Vancouver.



The best thing to put on wedding invitations, in my opinion is lots of texture! There's no better way of doing this by using the Big Shot embossing folders. Embossing adds depth and details to cards.

On another note: Stampin' Up! is releasing the retiring stampset list early from this year onwards. I will be posting this list on April 15. Be sure to check out this list because it shows all the stampsets that will be retiring after June 30. Don't miss out those stampsets that's been on your wishlist for the last little while. Stampin' Up! Wedding invitations

I'm done 100 of the 200 wedding invitations for a client! The other half is more than half way thru! Here's a look of a beautiful stash of wedding invitations made solely from Stampin' Up! Products.
With respect to the wonderful engaged couple, I won't be revealing the full card. It is a customized card and very special to the couple so I am going to keep it one of a kind by not displaying it.

Weddings in Vancouver

One thing I don't mention much about as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is that I also take orders for customized wedding invitations.

I have distraught clients coming up to me stating they have a hard time finding customized wedding invitations in Vancouver. Of course, I was always able to help them consult and design their invitations to what they have in mind.

This week I am assembling about 250 wedding invites. The picture on the right is a quick peek at step 1 of this week's order of wedding invitations I'm putting together.
