Simple quick and easy Christmas cards

There's only 9 days left until Christmas 2013! and it's just this last minute that I realize I didn't make enough Christmas cards. Luckily I had paper left in my Winter Frost Designer Series Paper stack. 

A quick die cut with the Holiday Ornaments Framelits makes a cute window to reveal the winter holiday pattern on the designer paper in the back.

With so little time, I was still able to make 6 of these cards in just 40 minutes!

Festival of Prints Wednesday

I would like to start off with apologizing with my delays in posting my recent Creative Wednesdays. I just started a new full-time job last week and am adjusting to a new schedule of routine in balancing a 7am-3pm job, a crafting business and part-time student life. I didn't get a chance to craft until today after work so thank you for your patience.

A great paper bundle for just $8.50 is the Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper from the Holiday Mini Catalogue. The paper is what I am featuring in my Creative Wednesday project.

The Festival of Prints paper features 24 different patterns and each pack contains 48 sheets in 4-1/2" x 6-1/2". I ran the paper through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder Die. I took white baker's twine and rolled it on the top of a Real Red ink pad to dye it red.

Fall Holiday Stamp Camp

Come for a day of crafting! Craft all your Christmas projects in one go! We will make at least 5 holiday projects to give your holidays an early start! Projects will include a box of  tags, cards and ornaments!

Triple Stamping Technique - Ornament Keepsakes

For the month of September, my regular stamping technique club meeting has moved up to tonight due to one of the member leaving for a quick vacation. 

This month I am featuring the triple stamping technique that has recently been made popular by Dawn Olchefske. So I'm just hopping on the bandwagon and re-creating her technique using the Ornament Keepsakes stamp set. 

My regular stamp club is on the very last Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm.

If you are interested in completing this month's stamp club projects (2 featured projects) at a drop-in rate of $12, I can run this class again upon request.

I am also still accepting new stamp club members!
Clubs run out of my home studio in Vancouver.

September Holiday Stamp-a-stack cards

The holiday season is just getting started! Make sure you get a piece of it by starting your Christmas cards early!! From September to November, I will be offering a monthly stamp-a-stack class.

Each class you will make 9 cards of 3 designs each for $25. Supplies and envelops are included.
Be sure to bring your own glue and adhesives.

This month we will be making 9 of the cards shown in this post on:
Sept. 25 7:30pm-9:30pm
Sept. 26 7:30pm-9:30pm

Since I will be offering Stamp-a-Stack classes each month from now until November, that means there will be 3 different class series.

For anyone who completes all 3 series, you will receive a free ornament class in November.

If you missed a class, you can contact me to do a make up session to complete all 3 series and receive the free ornaments class.
