A Noel My Paper Pumpkin

If it wasn't for my December My Paper Pumpkin Kit arriving in today's mail, I wouldn't have remembered to post November's My Paper Pumpkin project. Sorry for the delay.

November's project came with pre-die cut mini star garlands to embellish the Christmas card project. It was already threaded together and ready to use.

The card itself is too cute, it was needless for me to make an alternative card for the remaining 3 cards that came in with the kit. I made all 4 of the cards in the kit the way as it is shown. I love it! This is totally my style. My Paper Pumpkin, you know me well, my friend. 

December's kit arrived today and I can't wait to put it together! It is a complete kit to a mini smashbook! It will be perfect for a trip I will be taking later in 2014!

Christmas Stamp-a-stack card class I

Every year, I encourage everyone to start their Christmas cards early. This year I'm a month late. I'm hosting my first Christmas Stamp-a-stack on October 4. October is still not too late, let alone early! 

Just like my previous years, I'll be doing 3 different Christmas Stamp-a-stack classes every month until December. Each class we will make a total of 9 cards of 3 designs. So by the time Christmas is here, you will have a complete set of Christmas cards.

Christmas and Glitter on Thinlit Card Die

They've been called flip cards, flip flop cards, swing cards, and more-but they have always been a bit tricky to create. Not anymore! Stampin' Up!'s amazing new Thinlits Card Dies cut and score to create a card that flips in just one step.

I may have been late to jump on the bandwagon with this new thinlits card die. It's been so busy but I've finally made my first card with the new thinlits card die. I love how the die cuts and scores right onto the card. Makes a 10 minute card in only 10 seconds!

I kept my card simple by using the Festive Flurry bundle from the holiday mini catalog with Very Vanilla cardstock, coordinated with the Marina Mist color along with Silver Glimmer Paper. This card took no longer than 10 minutes. I love it!

There are 2 types of Thinlits Card Dies available. Both type comes with additional accessories that lends a hand in completing the perfect cards.

Come to Bethlehem with Bouncing Brayer

Tonight, I had a wonderful stamp club class with a group of wonderful women. Tonight's class was the last class I'll teach for 2012. So to end the year with a bang, we're going to do a little bouncing. For this month's stamp club technique we crafted this card using the bouncing brayer.

The northern star was first embossed and then had the background inked using the bouncing brayer technique.

This card was actually a case from Paula Dobson. Thanks for the inspiration Paula!

Snow Much Tags!

Just another 15 days left until Christmas Eve!! How are you tagging your Christmas gifts this year? I'm tagging mine with these quick Snow Much Fun snowman tags I crafted tonight. 

I used the Big Shot Perfect Pennants Bigz Die to make the Old Olive green cut outs and punched out the stamped snowman with a 1-3/4" circle punch.

Very simple!! You'll always need simple especially if you are making 20+ Christmas tags!

Santa's Little Helper Service

Using the the Snow Flurry Bigz Die, I layered newspaper and craft wrapping paper and rolled it into the Big Shot. Remember you can do 10 layers of paper at once through the Big Shot! To put it all together, I poked a hole in the middle and pulled a brad through.

Tidings of Christmas Joy! 23 days left

Pacific Point Evergreen Christmas

Pacific Point Blue is the new Olive Green for Christmas. I never thought how a blue tree would ever be beautiful but you never know until you try.

Today's Creative Wednesday uses the Pacific Point blue with Bashful Blue to give the card a warm and welcoming Christmas look.

Marbling Evergreen Christmas

Thank you for joining me for another Creative Wednesday. Today's feature is another technique stamp club class project we crafted last night. (This month's class was moved up to a few weeks).

For this month's technique, we used the marble effect for the background. It is a quick, fun and mess free technique. Even for a dirty-hands-free-crafter like me found this technique quite fun. I really love the Evergreen stamp set. This time I embossed the Evergreen tree in gold for a nice metallic look to contrast the marbled background.

Christmas Craft Tag

I don't know how much I've been stressing on keeping Christmas cards and projects as simple as you can as I am sure you have many other holiday things to do before the big day. So here I am again presenting to you today my Creative Wednesday project.

I crafted a simple Christmas craft tag using the elegant tree from the Forever Young stamp set. Keeping the card in monotone color and adding a little bit of spark with the Cherry Cobbler red to complete this chic Christmas tag.

Come for a day of crafting! Craft all your Christmas projects in one go! We will make at least 5 holiday projects to give your holidays an early start! Projects will include a box of  tags, cards and ornaments!

Christmas Stamp-a-stack in October

October is catching up to me too fast that I haven't had a chance to post all my upcoming October classes!

As revealed yesterday, we will be making 3 of the Greetings of the Season card in October's Christmas Stamp-a-stack class. Another card we will be crafting is the following card using the Happy Hour stamp set.

A quick and simple card but remember at each Stamp-a-stack class you will be making 9 cards in one sitting! 9 cards of 3 designs for $25. So simple is best!

Supplies and envelops are included. RSVP required.

Be sure to bring your own glue and adhesives.

Triple Stamping Technique - Ornament Keepsakes

For the month of September, my regular stamping technique club meeting has moved up to tonight due to one of the member leaving for a quick vacation. 

This month I am featuring the triple stamping technique that has recently been made popular by Dawn Olchefske. So I'm just hopping on the bandwagon and re-creating her technique using the Ornament Keepsakes stamp set. 

My regular stamp club is on the very last Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm.

If you are interested in completing this month's stamp club projects (2 featured projects) at a drop-in rate of $12, I can run this class again upon request.

I am also still accepting new stamp club members!

Evergreen Creative Wednesday

Another week has gone pass and through out the week I couldn't wait for another Wednesday reveal!

Today is another Creative Wednesday Project. This week's project is a Christmas card crafted with the Evergreen Stamp Set from the Holiday Mini Catalogue. The set has a stamp of a tree's silhouette and the words to Silent Night.

By the way of the photo you may be able to see the clear embossing I did with the outline of the tree stamp to give the card greater detail and texture.

Creative Wednesday Stampin' Tip: 

• Use the Embossing Buddy over the paper you are about to emboss on to remove any static.
