Christmas Stamp-a-stack card class I

Every year, I encourage everyone to start their Christmas cards early. This year I'm a month late. I'm hosting my first Christmas Stamp-a-stack on October 4. October is still not too late, let alone early! 

Just like my previous years, I'll be doing 3 different Christmas Stamp-a-stack classes every month until December. Each class we will make a total of 9 cards of 3 designs. So by the time Christmas is here, you will have a complete set of Christmas cards.

Christmas Stamp-a-stack I

This class will be offered at my home in Vancouver (Killarney area)

October 16 7:00pm - 9:00pm

A Beautifully Baroque Wedding

As we wind down to a 2013 season of summer, I was running out of ideas of quick and simple wedding cards. So I picked up the Beautifully Baroque bundle to put together this elegantly pleasing wedding card. 

The Beautifully Baroque stamp comes only in wood but if you bundle the stamp set with the coordinating Beautifully Baroque Big Shot Textured Impressions Embossing folder.

I started with choosing Very Vanilla as my card start and embossed the bottom layer and stamped on the top layer. I also used the One in a Million stamp set both inside and outside.

Washi Tape in Your Everyday Essentials

Did you know Stampin' Up! now have washi tape? Not sure what washi tape is? The word washi comes from Japanese meaning paper. So in the case of washi tape, we got ourselves some paper tape. That said, we can pretty much use washi tape on anything!
I always mix up my iphone charger with someone else's so I decorated my iphone charger with the Stampin' Up! washi tape. A quick and simple craft that brighten up our everyday essentials.

Belated Open House Update

I'm a bit late with revealing what we made at our Open House a few weeks ago. We had so much fun putting this card together. Even those who were new at crafting discovered how simple it was to craft such a beautiful card so quickly and easily.

A New Catalog Year Open House

Thank you to all who came out to my new 2013-2014 Stampin' Up! catalog! It was a hot summer day in Vancouver but my studio was nicely chilled to spark creativity and fun crafting discussions. It was always a nice way to share ideas and techniques!

One of the cards I demonstrated today was using the new Designer Typeset Photopolymer Stamp Set. You can do so much with it by bending the stamps and shaping it into your own liking.

Each month Stampin' Up! is releasing a new and unique Photopolymer stamp set. You won't find these in the regular catalogs. Check out the other Photopolymer sets here.

Oh, Hello Wednesday

It's been a few weeks since my last Creative Wednesday. I'm trying to catch up! So thanks for being with me this week.


This week I'm featuring the chalkboard technique using the Oh, Hello Stamp set.
This is a cute little stamp set that is great of most occasions. It even has a You're Invited stamp.
This card is a case from Elizabeth Price. Thanks for making such an amazing card! I really love the subtle use of the doily to bring out the white ink.
