Take an evening off your "Back-to-School" stress and get into the festive mode! It's never too late to prepare for the holidays. Once school starts or the kids are back in school, the next thing you'll realize is that you have no chance to make Christmas cards and holiday projects. 

Come to my Holiday Mini Catalog Soiree and get a head start to your Christmas cards and decor!

There will be a door prize and bonus gifts to those who join my stamp club or book a workshop!

I am offering this event twice and both nights will be the same so you don't need to come twice but you could if you like.

Saturday, October 13, 2012: 10:00am-2:00pm

Come for a day of crafting! Craft all your Christmas projects in one go! We will make at least 5 holiday projects to give your holidays an early start! Projects will include tags, gift box, cards and ornaments!

What you will get:

• Complete at least 5 holiday projects
• A goodie bag worth over $40 of goodies and product (stamp set)
• Great chances to win prizes of the day!

Bring a lunch, your own adhesives and scissors. Glue is available for purchase for those who did not bring glue.

Payment must be received before class to reserve your seat and goodie bag.

Early-bird registration fee before September 22: $50

Registration fee after September 22: $60

Last day to register is October 3

Keep Calm and Carry Rum

There is one particular stamp set that I have been itching to use for a long time. The Happy Hour stamp set. It is an all occasion stamp set, one you can even use for Christmas. I wanted to make a fun and humorous card by mixing things up with the hostess stamp set, Carry On.

And coincidentally the colors I used for this card (2012-2014 in-colors) are the same as the ones for this week's Stampin' Royalty Challenge. So I am entering this card for this week. I haven't entered any challenges for almost two years. This would be a fun start to pick it up again.

Here is my Reason to Smile card that I cased from Amy O'Neill found on the exclusive demonstrator only Stampin' Connection.

It is my first time using the new Paper Piercing Template pack on the Labels Collection Edgelits. It really highlights and adds intricate details to the edgelit die cut.

I also used the misting technique to add a little bit of watercoloring effect on the flowers. It's a technique perfect for this stamp set!
