March 3D Technique Club

3D Technique club project by Ida Chan Stampin' Up! VancouverA very delightful spring project for the 3D Technique club that is happening tomorrow night! We'll be making a cute gift bag using the free Sale-a-bration paper.
I really LOVE this year's Sale-a-bration items! My favourite free product this year is the free Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper (#126154)! I'm rarely a fan of florish paper but this set has a great balance of vintage and fresh florish combined!

At our monthly 3D Technique club , we craft nothing but 3D items! This can range from 3D cards to 3D bags and boxes. Interested in becoming part of the 3D technique club? I'm always accepting new members! There are 2 ways to join this club:
  1. Joining a 8 month club where each member is committed to purchasing a minimum of $25 for each month. AND by joining, each member is entitled to one hostess benefit on a month of their choice. This means they will receive $35 to spend on anything in the catalog that month!
  2. Paying a $12 drop-in fee at each club class.
To find out more on the 3D Technique club or other clubs that I offer, visit my club page. All classes are offered in my Vancouver home.
You can always contact Ida Chan, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator for more details: idacwchan@hotmail.com Cell: 778-892-1981

Iron Stampers WOW card

The third project from the Iron Stampers Project I'm posting today is the WOW card. There's not much of a WOW factor in this card, I think. Only fun technique I used is the faux suede flower. I just wanted to use the Notably Ornate stampset since I haven't used it in a long while and I wanted to keep my projects within the vintage theme that I'm trying to set. I'll post the last Iron Stampers Project soon once I'm done planning my classes for April this week. Can't wait to show you what classes I'm offering for April! Remember these classes are held in my home in Vancouver! Stay tuned!

Iron Stampers Altered Item Project

The next Iron Stampers project is the one I’m most excited about! It’s a paper dress-form banner. When I first received my Stampin’ Up! Labels Collection Framelits, I had to think of what else I can craft besides fancy labels and frames. FRAMES! That’s what it was!

I thought if everyone is taking the cut out inside of the labels, I’m going to take the outsides! Piecing things together I discovered that I can craft out miniature paper dress-forms! The base of the dress-forms is also the leftovers of what was cut out making the dress-forms from the Big Shot Framelits.

Once I got the cut outs of the dress-forms, it was time for dressing up the forms! For a moment I felt like I was a fashion designer. There wasn’t much stamping involved in this project. The key was using embellishments! Lots and lots of them!

Happy Gnome Day

I can't get enough of the cute Stampin' Up! Gnome Sweet Gnome stampset. So I had to make another quick card with the set tonight. The card is so cute that I've decided to make it as one of the birthday card buffet set that is happening this Saturday at 9am at my home in Vancouver, BC.

Visit my classes page for more details. I'm still taking registration for this Saturday's class. Contact me to RSVP. Pin It now!

Iron Stampers 5 minute card

As promised, here is one of the 4 reveals of the Iron Stampers project. Today I'll show you the quick and simple 5 minute handmade card. This card was made with the Elements of Style stampset. I decided to post this card first because it's the first day of spring today! Happy Spring!

How Iron Stampers works is that my upline gives 3 people a pack of pre-selected Stampin' Up! paper along with a pack of various embellishments. Our task is to try to use all the supplies given on every one of the 4 Iron Stampers project. This includes a 5 minute quick and simple card, a WOW card, a scrapbook page, and a 3D or altered item. Each player is given 2 months to complete these projects and we display them at our bi-monthly Stampin' Up! demonstrator exclusive meeting in Vancouver.
At the end of the meeting, a winner amongst the three players is announced based on votes.

And the results??!! I'll let you know when I'm done posting the projects. Stay tuned!

Interested in attending exclusive Stampin' Up! demonstrator meetings, challenges, and swaps? Here's your chance to join us at a discount! The Starter Kit is on sale for $150 (original price $215) and it's packed with things well over $350! Click join my team now to find out more.
